I'm Tanya. I don't like talking in the third person, so apologies if you were expecting that.

I'm a hair/make up/nail artist, full-time freelancing, as well as running a home salon, Hello Tanya Nails.

I've been working as a make up artist for almost 10 years now, having trained at London based make up school, Greasepaint in 2008. Work has ranged from make up for the West End, feature films, countless music videos, short films, TVCs, TV shows and several editorials for both print and online.

I take pride in my passion, creativity, attention to detail, focusing on making skin look amazing, and making people feel good!

Adding nail technician training at Monaco Nail Academy in 2012, might have been the best thing I've ever done!  I love nail art- at any time of the day, I'm probably thinking about it or being inspired by something I could maaaybe paint on a nail. I've been lucky enough to do nails for celebrities such as Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Ruby Rose, Giorgio Armani: Acqua Di Gioia Perfume Campaign (2013), successful pop ups all over Auckland, and session nail artist for several editorials, television and print.

I'm an incredibly patient person and a little goofy. I'm half Singaporean, half New Zealander and grew up in Hong Kong. I have an American accent, which can get quite confusing. I have a very large black and white cat named Rodney, and I have a low-key passion for photography.

I love collaborating on creative projects, so please get in touch!
